Bill Tobia

William J. Tobia is Chief Financial Officer of Maxwell Systems, Inc. Tobia brings more than 16 years of growth-oriented, venture-backed technology experience to this role. Prior to joining Maxwell Systems, Tobia was the Chief Financial Offer of InnaPhase. In that role, he was responsible for the company's finance, human resources, information systems, corporate development, and legal functions until the company was acquired by Thermo Electron Corp. Previous experience also includes roles as Chief Financial Officer for Naviant, Inc., a marketing database and services firm, and for Premier Solutions Ltd., a software and services subsidiary of SunGard Data Systems. Tobia holds a BS in Accounting from Villanova University, Magna Cum Laude. He also holds an MBA in Finance from Drexel University. He is a certified public accountant, a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
