Maxwell Systems Launches American Contractor Release 7.5

This new version adds many features while enhancing existing ones. The new Configuration Wizard makes set-up fast and easy for new users; an Explorer feature gives users total access in a single screen to all items pertaining to a project; and the enhancements to the program’s Info Center, which helps users manage documents within American Contractor, include the ability to embed files within the system rather than linking to an external folder.

  • Embedded Outlook e-mail messagescan be virtually “filed” along with any associated attachments through the Info Center.
  • The ‘Save Reports and Documents’ functionautomatically adds reports and documents created in the system to Info Center. This helps users manage saved reports and view historical or comparative data.
  • The ‘Save Configuration’ functionlets companies create and reset preferred settings for different user roles as custom or default configurations.
  • Enhanced shortcut functionalitygives users the ability to customize their Command Center shortcuts for quick access to frequently used features, such as specific job reports for each project manager.
