Maxwell Systems Releases Management Suite 6.8 Construction Accounting Software
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. – December 2, 2010 – Maxwell Systems, Inc., a leading provider of complete construction business management software solutions, today announced the release of Maxwell Systems Management Suite 6.8. This version of Maxwell Systems’ comprehensive business management software solution for the construction industry includesan update of features that benefits users in the back office as well as those in the field utilizing the solution’s MaxService application. By leveraging the breadth of functionality in this release, construction companies can better streamline process and control from business capture through business execution to business analysis.
- Improve additional revenue opportunities by having field employees capture potential new work information in field and transmit to back office for creation of quick quote or work order.
- Complete work more efficiently by sharing documentation about customer site details or equipment diagnostics between field and office. Sharing of documents to the field can provide service and maintenance information about customer site or equipment to be serviced. Field employees can update or collect diagnostic or meter reading data to store and share for future reference.
- Use the Service Quick Proposal capability to track all the proposals presented, and proposal expiration dates where applicable when related to service agreements or a quote to replace or repair a piece of equipment or system component. This helps to streamline the workflow of creating the necessary contract, equipment, and work orders.
- Automatically create service contracts for customer equipment, track customer equipment to be serviced, and create work orders for performing the work. By streamlining this process, businesses can reduce data entry time and eliminate potential errors.
- Analyze and have better visibility into service contract renewal percentage, new contracts, and additional repair or service quoted work.
- Addition of Alert Maintenance – allows control of addition/deletion of alerts for any given user through a single maintenance function.
- Changes to posting of costs to service contracts to provide more accurate analysis of costs and revenue.
- Introduction of Greenshades, a third-party provider of annual W2 e-filings for federal government and state requirements.
- Various MaxService items, such as:
- Support of Windows 7 for Field Devices.
- Support of Netbooks (with Windows 7) for field devices (lower price point hardware solution).
- Ability to identify Additional Work in the field and have the information create new work orders in the back office.
- Ability to send Office Manager documents to the field for viewing by the service technician.
- Ability to create new documents in the field and send them to the back office and attach through Office Manager module to the work order or piece of equipment.
