- Detailed analysis of job using Phase functionality – Phase now allows each Range of a road to be divided into up to four subsections, which helps contractors gain a complete and in-depth view of job and plan work more efficiently.
“This version of Quest Cross Sections improves contractors’ ability to perform more accurate calculations, especially critical in civil work,” said James Sexton, Product Manager, Quest Estimating and Civil Products. “We design our software to work the way contractors do and made these enhancements to Quest Cross Sections in response to the needs of our customers.”
Maxwell Systems™ Quest Cross Sections™ enables estimators to break out separate sections of a road, such as a ditch, a specific lane, or median, and calculate individual cut and fill quantities, each incorporating multiple levels of bedding, backfill, asphalt, and other materials. This will enable estimators to conform to varying DOT specifications. This and all Maxwell Systems Quest earth-measuring products are based on the innovative technology of Maxwell Systems Quest Earthwork™, but are geared toward specific types of sitework contractors. All of these products enable users to send cut and fill quantities to Maxwell Systems Quest Estimator™ to create estimates with speed and accuracy.
