Maxwell Systems Releases Quest Digital Takeoff 3.2
King of Prussia, Pa. – October 23, 2008 – Maxwell Systems, Inc. today announced the release of This version of Maxwell Systems’ digital takeoff software includes new features and enhancements that help contractors improve speed and accuracy of takeoff using digital plans with functionalities such as: ability to import color PDFs, for color specific areas within digital plans; enhanced calculation for compensate scale for improved accuracy; and Add and Break icons for easier transitions for multiple line takeoff of items.
Quest Takeoff helps contractors to:
• Conveniently download, scan, or upload plans
• Easily measure and count using a mouse
• Quickly choose your cost item or assembly
• Create a complete estimate and graphical takeoff
• Increase, decrease, copy, rotate, move, and more
• Quickly adjust and compare plans when changes happen
Users of Quest Takeoff can take digital plan files from an online plan room, CD-ROM, or other source, in many common types including PDF, TIF, GIF, and CAD formats, and upload them directly into the program. Once digital plans are imported, users select the appropriate cost item library, choose a cost item, and start tracing on their computer screen with a mouse.
Quest Takeoff is available as a standalone product or bundled with Maxwell Systems™ Quest Estimator™.
