Maxwell Systems Releases Quest Estimator 7.6

Latest version of innovative estimating system includes more than 200 new features and integration with Maxwell Systems American Contractor

King of Prussia, Pa.—September 6, 2007—Maxwell Systems, Inc. is proud to announce Maxwell Systems™ Quest Estimator™ 7.6, the latest release of its takeoff and estimating system.

Maxwell Systems American Contractor offers job cost accounting and project management functions. Now, by combining with Quest Estimator, contractors have estimating, accounting, and project management in a single system, creating a true end-to-end construction management solution.

Thousands of estimators already use Quest Estimator 7.6 to complete takeoffs and estimates. The system keeps track of all quantities and cost item specifications, providing a convenient audit trail for each job. It also provides a centralized storage location for historical pricing on each cost item. In addition, users can also create estimate templates within the program containing items they regularly use.

Quest Estimator 7.6 includes proprietary 3-D Visual Assemblies, which are detailed computer takeoff images that enable an estimator to zoom, rotate, see inside, and separate the components of any structure. These help verify all components of a structure are in place, and provide clients with an impressive picture of their investment.

The software is also integrated with Proposal Writer to help contractors accumulate estimate details and create proposals in the format their customers want to see. This program includes many user-definable fields to give contractors flexibility throughout the proposal creation process, and tracking tools to help them organize and monitor submitted proposals.

In addition, Maxwell Systems Quest Estimator 7.6 boasts over 200 feature enhancements, such as Quest Estimator’s Underground Visual Assemblies. Contractors can now access fully functional 3-D graphics with the ability to dynamically display changes made to the Visual Assembly.

Moreover, jobs can be organized in virtual subfolders. Users can highlight an existing subfolder when creating new jobs to auto-populate the name field. Plus, jobs within the SQL workspace now include associated images to simplify exporting and sending emails, eliminating the need to send these images separately.
