American Contractor Modules
Service Management
With the Service Management module, you can automate and control services.
Service Management increases profitability and customer satisfaction with comprehensive dispatching/scheduling, work order tracking, pricing and billing, contract maintenance, and financial reporting.
This module addresses the key elements of the service industry: responsiveness to customers, efficient scheduling of resources, realistic pricing, prompt and accurate billings, and informed management oversight of critical financial indicators.
Using Service Management, you can:
- Quick enter service calls with the customizable work order form and location record. Attach up to five different memos for tracking work to be done, work completed, recommended, and more.
- Create work orders from estimates or from on-going service agreements for efficiency.
- Take advantage of drag-and-drop simplicity in the Dispatch Board, which helps you track employees and equipment for work orders and construction jobs.
- Automatically create Service Agreements and work order forms from service agreements for streamlined processing. Create invoices using various billing frequencies.
- Easily track multiple pieces of equipment installed at each location as well as warranty type, expiration date, manufacturer, model, and serial number.
- Generate invoices for customers to suit your needs. Items can be automatically marked up to create T&M invoices. Other invoice types include Contract, Not-to-Exceed, No Charge, and Service Agreement.
- Easily enter service call items from your catalog, inventory (multiple locations handle service trucks), or from purchase orders. Enter labor as billable or nonbillable.
- Create initial timecards in payroll by importing work order billing labor items. Comparing these items against employee timecards helps verify that appropriate hours in payroll are associated with invoicing in work orders.
- View profitability by work order, employee, customer, or location with Service Management status reports.
Reports include:
- Cost & Billing Detail
- Status Reports
- Service Agreement Profitability
- Equipment Warranty Status
- Employee Schedules
