Management Suite Modules
Payroll
The Management Suite Payroll module includes everything needed to process and report construction payrolls.
Payroll allows you to record work and calculate earnings, benefits, fringes, insurance liabilities, and taxes, as well as print checks and update all costing and financial records to complete the payroll cycle. From small non-union companies to large firms working in multiple states with multiple unions and extensive benefit plans, Payroll provides an efficient and economical alternative to manual or outsourced payrolls. Required government, management, and third-party reports are automated, and insurance tracking helps contractors use fewer labor hours to generate more revenue.
Using Payroll, you’ll appreciate these benefits:
- Numerous time card entry options provide flexibility. Enter time cards by job or by employee or both. In addition, enter time cards for piece work, expense reimbursements, per diems, flat rates, vacation time, and holiday time.
- Wages can be determined by trade, union, job location, prevailing wage, and other circumstances unique to an employee. These may be over-ridden at data entry time.
- Payroll supports an unlimited number of unions with varying rates and deduction/fringe formulas. This Management Suite component handles unlimited pension and benefit plans, including Section 125 cafeteria and 401K.
- With DataLink import functionality, transfer hours from remote job sites via MaxCentral or a third-party time collection application into the payroll time card.
- Direct data entry by employees or supervisors can be made using an Internet web browser.
- Easy-to-use data entry screens enable employees to quickly process payroll information.
- Calculations and reports accommodate all requirements of the Federal government, state, city and county tax jurisdictions.
- Integration with Job Costing, Service Management, and Equipment Costing automatically captures labor costs by job task, service call, or piece of equipment.
- Inter-company processing enables employees of a single entity to perform work for other entities and record all costs and liabilities without the need for extra journal entries or transfers.
- Administrative payroll may be isolated from standard payroll processing for security and privacy purposes.
- Streamline reporting with complete workers’ compensation reports, Forms 941, Forms W2, union reports, and numerous other monthly and quarterly reports.
- Payrolls for varying periods (weekly, biweekly, monthly or bi-monthly) may be processed simultaneously. Payrolls for a new calendar year may be processed normally while still closing out the prior year and printing Forms W2.
- The Payroll component includes reporting on magnetic media and direct deposit with employee-defined splits to multiple accounts.
Reports include:
- Missing Timecard Report
- Payroll Insurance Report
- Employee Deduction/Fringe Report
- YTD Earnings Report
- Certified Payroll Report
