Management Suite Modules
PricingService LINK
With the PricingService LINK module, businesses can automate pricing for Management Suite.
PricingService LINK provides an automated method to update Management Suite inventory price data from third-party pricing service sources such as Trade Services (including Tra-Ser), Callahan Roach, Harrison Publishing, National Price Service, large supply houses, and more. PricingService LINK may also be used to import complete databases into newly installed systems, tailoring them to your needs and making the system immediately productive.
Using PricingService LINK, you’ll appreciate these benefits:
- Inventory items are identified and updated by their unique Universal Product Code (UPC) numbers.
- For flexibility, list price and inventory cost can be updated independently and marked up or down as needed by item category.
- The U/M (Unit of Measure) Conversion Maintenance function establishes a reference table to be used if items are maintained in a unit of measure other than that used by the pricing service (e.g., wire that is stocked and issued by the foot but priced by the 100-foot reel).
- A “default” inventory item may be created to pre-fill inventory item data required by Management Suite but not available from the chosen pricing service.
- Standard formats for updating prices from recognized sources are delivered with this Management Suite component. These formats can be copied or modified to accommodate other sources such as local supply houses or Web sites.
- PricingService LINK can provide additional productivity in Inventory Control, Purchase Orders, Service Management, Accounts Receivable (T&M) Job Billing, Order Processing, and Equipment Costing.
