StreetSmarts Modules
SmartTraxx
With the SmartTraxx module, businesses can take the power of StreetSmarts to the jobsite.
Reduce data entry, increase accuracy, and make real-time reporting a reality by entering data once in the field. With SmartTraxx that’s just the beginning. Your field personnel can easily track Payroll Time, Equipment Time, Mechanic Time, Progress Quantities, Fuel Tickets, and Purchase Order Receipts. Then at the end of the day, SmartTraxx syncs up with the home office to keep everyone on the same page.
SmartTraxx will improve your field reporting from the field and at your home office:
- From the Field:
- Access all job information and details associated with those jobs, including bid items, cost items, purchase orders, equipment, and employees on the job.
- Automatically receive updated StreetSmarts information in the field when field data is transferred to the office.
- At the Home Office:
- Edit and validate data within StreetSmarts prior to sending to Payroll.
- Analyze productivity and generate reports, including Daily Activity, Equipment and Labor Timecards, Payroll Summary, and Exceptions reports.
Using SmartTraxx, you’ll appreciate these benefits:
- Use Crew Timecards to speed up entry with ability to enter data on one screen and copy previous timecards or use a template.
- Record information about daily activities at a jobsite, including the conditions, progress, and obstacles. Project Managers have the details needed to make informed decisions.
- View your data by helpful parameters, such as Job, Bid Item, Task, Plant, COP, Employee, Equipment, or a date range. Print and export reports in your preferred format – Crystal Reports, PDF, Excel, Word, or Rich Text.
- Transfer job data (such as budget and project-to-date) from StreetSmarts to SmartTraxx for display in reports and on Crew Timecards. Foreman can get an accurate picture of a job’s progress.
- From the field, log information for crew-members, including jobs that are assigned, equipment that is used, and hours that are worked.
- Superintendents track equipment used on specific jobs, including Cost Code, Hours Type, number of hours, and comments.
- Track fuel information for equipment on a specific job. At the office, use StreetSmarts Equipment Management to manage fuel costs among equipment, update job locations, and adjust meter readings.
- From the jobsite, enter material quantities received against purchase orders. With StreetSmarts Purchasing, receipts are updated and accruals may be created against the job-based on receipt date.
- Enter Progress Quantities against Cost Codes and Bid Items for jobs.
- Shop personnel may enter labor against a Work Order for a specific piece of equipment, which automates work order costing.
- Entering Start and Stop times for employees automatically calculates the number of hours worked on each job and task, which saves time and reduces errors.
- Automatically create Job Cost progress quantity transactions with feature to enter the number of loads a truck or equipment piece hauls. The solution automatically calculates the progress quantity for the task based on the capacity of the truck/equipment and product being hauled. The quantities and other information about the load is captured and sent to Job Cost for in-depth querying and analysis.
- Daily Project Report prints for each job bringing all the information entered for a project together in one easy-to-read page that may be approved by the supervisor or owner.
- Remote Transaction Console in StreetSmarts provides an optional approval workflow that allows superintendents to view and approve timesheets from foremen assigned to them. The approver can reject, place on hold, or edit any timesheet with comments or instructions insuring the timecards are correct before sending to payroll.
- Approvers can configure their own approval console view of timesheets to display the information that is most meaningful to them, making approval fast and easy.
